Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

Micronesia – A Vacationer's Paradise
The best way to enjoy the island

Deep in the western Pacific Ocean lies over two thousand small islands that make up the country of Micronesia. Each individual island is different from the rest, with it's own distinct personality, but the thousands of islands are all divided into eight nation-states and territories. A few of the best known island-states in Micronesia are: the Marshalls, Kiribati, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, and Guam.

Since Micronesia is made up of so many distinct islands, it is no wonder that they have many different cultures and ethnicities, even though each different culture is descended from the Micronesian culture. The Micronesian culture was one of the very last native cultures to develop, and developed from a wide variety of other local cultures, such as: Filipinos, Polynesians, and Melanesians. Because of the wide variety of different cultures and people, some of the people feel closer to the people in the Philippines or Polynesia.

With the different cultures and tribes come different languages. There are many languages that are spoken by the indigenous people in Micronesia, and are all classified under the Austronesian Language family. Most of the languages spoken in Micronesia today are the Palauan language in Palau, and the Chamorro, the Tanapag, and the Carolinian in the Mariana Islands.

For most people, their vacation begins on the island of Kosrae. This island is one of the main attractions of Micronesia, and there are miles of beautiful beaches that are awesome for diving, snorkeling, and swimming. You can watch the seals play in the coral reefs around the island and you can dive right beside them. There are also plenty of diving shops that can give you lessons and rent equipment for you to use. There are also many great beaches that you can find awesome surf to play and ride the waves on.

But it is not just the water that you should enjoy while you vacation in Micronesia. There are so many different types of plants and animals that surround you on the islands here, some that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. The birdwatching is awesome, and you can find great tours through the rain forests on the island to find some of the most beautiful birds that you have ever seen. Or, you can hike the rain forest paths on your own, exploring and traveling at your own pace. You will find some of the most beautiful waterfalls that speed to the ocean here on Micronesia, that make for great photos and fun.

Of course, while there are many great vacation rentals, resorts and hotels to stay at on your visit to Micronesia, the best way to enjoy the island is through a vacation rental. With all of the different islands and cultures to see, you can always find the perfect rental to fit your vacation and your style. From the center of town to the outskirts of the rain forest, you can always find a perfect rental that will provide you with exactly the type of experience you want to have on your vacation in Micronesia.

About Milan Miki
Hi, I’m Miki - Author of the bestselling book "Manual For Vacation Rental Owners – 100 Tips for Successful Renting" and I'm the daddy of TravelPorch.com - my favourite portal for travel videos! :-) I also write the travel blog on LinoTravel.com to help holiday home owners and travelers come together.

Vacation rentals and holiday rentals (just check the countles travel directories) are a great alternative for those who wish to have more privacy and space to maneuver, something that hotels don't really have. Staying in a hotel involves tipping porters and valets; there is the added expense of dining out daily. Just like there are hotels everywhere, there are vacation rentals and holiday homes all over the world ready to be booked.

From the initial dream of a vacation in a luxury villa, through the entire trip, every step should be stress free and enjoyable.

I'm offering quality advertising for vacation rentals on my specialized web site ArrangeYourVacation.com and travel advice and the best travel websites on my vacation rentals blog. My client satisfaction rate is extremely high due to my personal contact with each traveler and vacation rental owner.
