With the launch of the site and the addition of significant new features, SYS-CON Media will also make adjustments to its subscription model by introducing a free membership option. The readers will also be able to purchase a single digital copy of any SYS-CON magazine or a popular education class by using their credit card or PayPal accounts.

"We built our new Web site from the ground up, and utilized some of the most sophisticated and bleeding-edge technologies available today," said Fuat Kircaali, founder and CEO of SYS-CON Media. "To our knowledge, there is no other main stream media Web site in the world today, including newspapers and network media, where a reporter in a court room can post a breaking news story directly from his or her BlackBerry to the pages of a magazine without going through several layers of back office interface. In addition to the highly respected content we have offered to our readers for more than a decade, our unmatched new technology will play an essential role in making SYS-CON.com the i-technology news leader in the upcoming months and years."

The new SYS-CON.com features include blog-n-play, the world's first branded blog community; SYS-CON.TV, the first streaming live i-technology television; and SYS-CON University, the first online i-technology education site that contains tutorials and education classes taught by the world's top experts.
