Puget Systems Announces Free Windows 7 Upgrade Program
Custom Systems Builder Launches Aggressive Program for New Customers; Buy a PC Now With Windows Vista and Get Free Windows 7 Upgrade Upon Its Release

SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/03/09 -- Puget Systems (www.pugetsystems.com), a boutique integrator of custom PC systems for enthusiasts, gamers, consumers and SMB markets, today announced a program to provide free upgrades to Windows 7. Effective immediately, Puget Systems customers who purchase a qualifying desktop computer equipped with the 64-bit edition of Windows Vista Ultimate or Home Premium will be eligible for a free upgrade to the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate upon its availability from Microsoft.

With this aggressive program, Puget Systems is offering customers valuable incentive to partner with the industry's most reliable builder of high quality, high performance computers to ensure trouble-free, seamless upgrades to Windows 7.

"The Puget Systems Free Windows 7 Upgrade program is perhaps one of the most aggressive promotions we've launched in our history, " said Jon Bach, president of Puget Systems. "This is an interesting time in the industry; an economic downturn coupled with an inactive period in the technology development cycle has resulted in a quiet, uninteresting market. Consumers are taking a wait and see approach to buying new systems. We aim to fill the vacuum with a valuable incentive for customers to give Puget Systems a closer look and provide them an opportunity to partner with a high end systems builder who will go the extra mile with unparalleled service and attentiveness."

Free Windows 7 Upgrade Program: The Details

Customers who purchase a full personal computer system with a minimum cost of $1,000 qualify for the free Windows 7 upgrade, upon its availability from Microsoft.

To take advantage of the free upgrade offer, customers must follow specific guidelines outlined by the company:

-- To be eligible for this upgrade, customers must ask Puget Systems
    representatives to update their quotes to reflect this offer before placing
    their order;
-- Puget Systems will begin accepting machines for upgrade within 30 days
    after the launch of Windows 7;
-- Customers will be responsible for any shipping costs to and from Puget
    Systems;
-- Due to anticipated volume, Puget Systems will only be upgrading a
    limited number of machines per week on a first come, first served basis;
-- Puget Systems will perform a fresh Windows 7 installation, therefore
    completely erasing customers' hard drives. Data backup prior to sending
    system back to Puget Systems for upgrade is highly recommended.

This upgrade offer is scheduled to expire on June 15, 2009, however the Company reserves the right to change this date at any time. This upgrade is being completed at the sole cost of Puget Systems and with no partnership from Microsoft.

After installing Windows 7, Puget Systems will complete its full testing and benchmarking process, to ensure the system is problem free and is performing as expected.
