(May 16, 2005) - SeaDream Yacht Club, operator of the twin, ultra-luxury mega-yachts SeaDream I and II---each with its own incomparable spa---is offering a SeaDream Spa Special for both men and women on select Caribbean and transatlantic sailings this fall. All SeaDream voyages embarking from October 15 to December 18, 2005 will feature the special spa offering at great savings over regular prices. Here's how it works. The guest prepays US$199 when making a voyage booking. The pre-payment enables the guest to select any four spa treatments from SeaDream's Spa Menu of 11 different offerings. This is a savings of more than 50 percent off the price if paid onboard. The spa savings apply to eight sailings on SeaDream I and nine on SeaDream II. Information on specific itineraries, schedules and booking is available from travel professionals or from SeaDream Yacht Club, 1 800 707-4911. SeaDream's exclusive spas are renowned among discerning travelers. They have been referred to as "An island of pampering in an ocean of tranquility." Adopting a holistic approach, SeaDream's Asian Spa draws on ancient Eastern philosophy and techniques to encourage a lifestyle of harmony between mind and body. The spa menu has been created to revitalize and rejuvenate-to help the guest unwind and recharge. The various offerings on the spa menu utilize an extensive range of traditional Asian techniques such as Shiatsu Massage, Javanese Lulur Body Scrub and the well-known Thai Massage. Other SeaDream Spa offerings are: Aroma Body Massage, Asian Blend Massage, Thai Herbal Compress Therapy, Swedish Body Massage, Minty Foot Massage, Thai Foot Reflexology, Body Glow, Honey Milk Body Mask and facial therapies Valmont Discovery Facial, Peaks of Purity Facial and a treatment designed for men called Purity for Men. SeaDream Yacht Club is a member of the highly-regarded Thai Spa Association. In fact, it is the only seagoing spa member. SeaDream takes pride in its membership in this exclusive organization. Also, for the size of its twin yachts, accommodating only 55 couples in elegantly-appointed staterooms---with eight massage therapists aboard each vessel, SeaDream offers the highest ratio of masseuses per guest of any passenger ship operating today. Included in the price of these SeaDream Spa Special Offer voyages are all gourmet meals, wine with lunch and dinner, open bar, use of water toys, mountain bikes, golf simulator, MP3 players, DVDs, CDs and gratuities. Not included are ultra-premium spirits and wines, use of satellite telephone or internet access, boutique purchases, medical services, casino play, optional special tours, use of Segway Human Transporters, government, port document issuance, handling and services fees. SeaDream Yacht Club is the yachting venture by Norwegian entrepreneur Atle Brynestad who founded Seabourn Cruise Line, and Larry Pimentel who was president of Seabourn under Brynestad and later president and CEO of the merged Cunard and Seabourn. Pimentel is President and CEO of the Coconut Grove, Florida-headquartered SeaDream Yacht Club and a co-owner. Brynestad is Chairman. The company operates SeaDream I and SeaDream II, twin, ultra luxury, mega yachts that operate on seven-day sailings in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Dalmatian Coast and the Black Sea. The yachts are not only ideal for discerning travelers seeking an unstructured and casual holiday experience but also for small meetings and incentive groups or individual private family gatherings. They are available for full charter. SeaDream I and II shared the top Five-Star Club award in the Berlitz Ocean Cruising and Cruise Ships 2003, 2004 and recently in the 2005 guidebook. For this guidebook author Douglas Ward created a special category "Utterly Exclusive" for only three vessels he said to be above luxury. Of the three, two were SeaDream I and II. In the Americas the SeaDream Yacht Club reservations number is 1 800 707-4911. In Europe it is +47 23 28 96 60. The website is www.seadreamyachtclub.com.
