Industry News Visual Nexus Unveils Lates Version Of It's Virtual Meeting Software
Visual Nexus brings video, voice and data collaboration for face-to-face virtual meetings
Sep. 28, 2008 05:00 PM
Visual Nexus has announced the release of its upgraded virtual meeting solution, Visual Nexus Version 4, which supports 4CIF video on standard desktop computers using a WebCam over a standard broadband connection. In addition, the new video synthesis function can display up to 16 video images transmitting them in a single compressed video stream. Finally, the virtualization of the meeting server is now complete enabling different organizations or departments to use the same meeting server as if it were their own private system. Visual Nexus brings video, voice and data collaboration for face-to-face virtual meetings. It offers dispersed teams the ability to work together regardless of where they are located. Visual Nexus version 4 is not only used for face-to-face meetings among dispersed teams, but is also for meetings requiring sharing of data or fully interactive collaboration of applications on desktop computers. It can also be used for remote education, training, interviews, consultations, etc. Visual Nexus version 4 can be supplied as a stand alone meeting server (MCU) creating virtual meeting rooms accessed by traditional video conferencing systems, or as a total solution including the Visual Nexus desktop client and the Visual Nexus Secure Transport for secure communications across network boundaries.
