Aquent's On Demand division has integrated RoboHead with Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) to provide new clients the option of storing their data on the S3 infrastructure. RoboHead, Aquent's web-based marketing project management tool, helps marketing organizations and agencies manage the full life cycle of their projects, from intake through delivery. New RoboHead clients will have the option to store their project files, images, documents, and all digital assets in RoboHead's own secure, reliable data architecture or within the Amazon S3 environment.
"We are pleased to offer new RoboHead clients two data storage options," said Chris Moody, president of Aquent On Demand. "Our clients' interest in 'cloud computing' has increased significantly. For those who want their information stored within this new type of environment, we now have a good option," concluded Moody.
RoboHead clients who choose to host their data on Amazon S3 will be using the same data storage infrastructure that Amazon uses to run its own global network of websites. Moody said that hosting services on Amazon S3 would reduce RoboHead users' storage costs by as much as 50 percent.
