Mozilla Deploys Pentaho, Vertica
Mozilla Has Deployed Pentaho's Commercial Open Source BI Data Integration Widgetry and Vertica's Analytic Database
Aug. 1, 2008 06:55 PM
Having outgrown its homemade log analysis scripts, Mozilla has deployed Pentaho’s commercial open source business intelligence (BI) Data Integration widgetry and Vertica Systems’ high-performance analytic database to analyze large volumes of log file information in a data warehouse and business intelligence system.
Now it should be able to store more information and have more people query it faster and in more ways.
The stuff is running on a Red Hat-based HP DL460 BladeSystem and the Tomcat application server.
