Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

Port City Web Launches New B2B Website and Logo for Chase Checks of Maine
Port City Web Launches New B2B Website and Logo for Chase Checks of Maine

PORTSMOUTH, NH -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/09/05 -- Port City Web, LLC announced that it has launched a new B2B website for Chase Checks, a full-service printing and distribution company based out of York, Maine. The new website, www.ChaseChecks.com, will allow new and existing customers to browse and, in the near future, design and purchase in real-time right from the website.

"We're taking a phased approach to meet the needs of our customer, Chase Checks," noted Erik Crago, President of Port City Web. The first is a completely new website, new content and logo, which has taken place. The second phase, which has already begun and is partially integrated with the new site, is allowing customers to self-design checks and forms, then place their order -- all in real time. The second phase, expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of this year, will be fully integrated with Chase Checks' internal systems, allowing for reduced overhead and even quicker turn-around times on customer orders.

"We're thrilled with the fresh, new look of our website," noted Steven Fuchs, President of Chase Checks. "In addition to the new functionality we're also working with Port City Web to improve our online search ranking to help increase our customer base. The new design, improved search rankings, and the eCommerce addition should mean more customers and more business."
