Infragistics Announces New AJAX Tool
Comprehensive Package of AJAX-Enabled Tools Produces Consistent and Compelling UIs

Infragistics announced the availability of Infragistics NetAdvantage for JSF 2008 Volume 1 enabling web developers to leverage the power of JavaServer Faces to create compelling User Interfaces (UI). This new release provides a comprehensive package of AJAX-enabled JSF UI components for building commercial Web 2.0 applications in J2EE environments. With the ability to create re-useable components, NetAdvantage for JSF 2008 Volume 1 helps Java enterprise developers create consistent experiences with less code in less time.
"In addition to our comprehensive package of UI tools, Infragistics offers Enterprise-class global support, commercial-quality documentation, source code and access to our JSF roadmap. All this gives our customers a streamlined JSF migration path," said Jim Cook, Java product manager at Infragistics. "Our new features make it easy for developers to create highly-stylized, high- performance implementations of Web-based applications with a consistent experience, look and feel saving enterprises time and money."
With NetAdvantage for JSF 8.1, developers can take advantage of a host of new features including: IBM WebSphere, JBoss and Weblogic Portal Support which allows intra-portlet communication; Improved Editable DataTables providing advanced functionality in a Java data table available and including cell editing, multi-column sorting, fixed columns and AJAX-enabled, load-on-demand scrolling; and Dialog Window to integrate design-time capabilities and a wide variety of common dialog window behaviors which can be configured using either client or server side APIs. These new features compliment existing key features such as Input Components, Tree structures, 2D and 3D Charting and Data Binding.
