Paul Manting to Head Up Sales & Marketing at ICON Yachts
Manting is Already Briefing Top Yacht Brokers On the Advantages That the ICON 62m Offers Their Clients

As the first ICON 62m hulls arrive at ICON Yachts’ freshly
refurbished facility in Harlingen
in The Netherlands for fitting out, another new arrival is set to head up the
Sales & Marketing activities.
Paul Manting, whose impressive track record includes running
Feadship’s South of France office, is already briefing top yacht brokers on the
advantages that the new ICON 62m offers their clients – “a custom superyacht on
an optimized platform”.
After nautical college Paul sailed as a fully licensed
engineer on merchant vessels before being promoted to the bridge and starting
his unlimited captain’s license navigating the world’s oceans for 10 years.
Moving ashore Paul worked in sales and marketing at a number of international
organizations, including Yanmar, and ran his own company supplying products for
large yachts – including yacht projects that Wim Koersvelt was involved with.
ICON Yachts CEO, Wim Koersvelt, says “I am delighted to
welcome Paul aboard ICON to build up our sales and marketing operations. We recognize
his years of international experience in various areas of the industry,
combined with his broad technical knowledge and personal relationships with
brokers, captains and designers, that makes him the right person for the job!"
