JaxView 3.7 Policies include:
“We are looking at the direction of SOA management and we’ve added features around policy profiles where a single service can be assigned multiple policy profiles for enforcement at runtime.” states Al Aghili, founder and chief technology officer of Managed Methods Inc. “This architecture will allow JaxView to enforce different policies, such as authentication and routing, based on the client initiating the request. Therefore, allowing a different set of policies for different types of clients. As an example internal clients of a Web service would need to abide by different authorization polices than the external clients. This could be accomplished by creating a set of policy profiles for internal clients of the Web service and then creating separate profiles for the external clients. ” states Aghili.
