Nextest Expands Corporate Headquarters in San Jose, California
Nextest Systems celebrated its 10 years being in San Jose and Grand Opening of its new facility

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nextest Systems Corporation , a low-cost leader in the design and manufacture of automatic test equipment (ATE), today cut the ribbons to its new 128,000-square-foot facility at 875 Embedded Way, in San Jose, California. City of San Jose officials and the San Jose Redevelopment Agency representatives joined in the celebration.

"I am delighted that Nextest has decided to open their new headquarters and keep valuable manufacturing jobs in San Jose. All of us benefit when home-grown San Jose companies like Nextest choose to stay here and grow here," said Mayor Chuck Reed.

Nextest relocated from a 51,000-square-foot facility in the Monterey Corridor Redevelopment Project Area to a twice the capacity facility in Edenvale Technology Park Redevelopment Area in South San Jose. The new facility houses a state-of-the-art manufacturing floor, increased capacity for research and development, as well as expanded training and customer center. Nextest currently employs 230 workers worldwide including 140 employees at the new San Jose headquarters.
