BEA to Illuminate Service Oriented Architecture at 2nd eWorld JAPAN
Jun. 14, 2004 12:00 AM
This week, on June 17th and 18th, the 2nd BEA eWorld JAPAN Conference will take place at the Cerulean Tower Tokyo Hotel in Tokyo. At this year's eWorld JAPAN conference, with the theme Deploy SOA Now, attendees can gain an in-depth understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), the industry movement designed to help make IT more efficient and more responsive to the needs of business. Through hands-on technology demonstrations, interactive discussions and conference keynotes, industry speakers will examine SOA and detail why they believe this technology blueprint will be guiding enterprise technology in 2004 and well beyond. In addition to keynotes and breakout sessions from BEA executives, industry experts, and partners, eWorld JAPAN 2004 is scheduled to feature the unveiling of strategy and product developments from BEA. Building on its heritage of innovation in the enterprise software market, BEA will discuss significant new ways its products are designed to help customers reduce the overall cost of enterprise computing by making IT easier, more flexible, and highly adaptable. Conference highlights include scheduled keynotes by Alfred Chuang, BEA founder, chairman and chief executive officer; Tom Gibbs, director of worldwide strategy and planning, Solution Marketing Development, Intel; Scott Dietzen, Java technology expert and BEA chief technology officer; Professor Ken Sakamura, Ph.D., University of Tokyo; and Professor Seichiro Yonekura, Ph.D., Hitotsubayashi University Institute of Innovation Research. Attendees can tour the Exhibit Hall, filled with innovations, technologies, and services from more than 45 BEA partners. For more information, visit http://www.eworld.jp/.
