The DLM Server automatically implements users' DLM policies and ensures data is cost-appropriately stored based on its changing value over time. Virtualizing multiple storage assets with different price and performance capabilities, the DLM Server ensures data is always available to users, applications, and administrators without the complexity and delay of traditional archiving approaches, and at a lower cost than high-performance storage alone.
