The Future is MX: Macromedia Profits Rise in Q4

With its three families of products - Macromedia MX Products, Information Convenience Products, and Mobile and Device Products - the San Francisco based company posted Q4 results that were "above expectations" according to CFO Betsey Nelson. For the March quarter Macromedia posted net revenues of $102M, an 18% operating profit margin - a good solid result that shows what Nelson called "the leverage in our operating model." For the overall fiscal year, net revenues were $370M, a 10% growth over the prior year, with 15% operating profit margin.
