Cellular Sales Expands and Adds New Jobs with Store in Middletown
Verizon Wireless retailer opens second store in Rhode Island

MIDDLETOWN, R.I., Nov. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cellular Sales, the largest independent Verizon Wireless retailer by volume, announces their expansion in Rhode Island with a new store in Middletown. Over the next year, the store is expected to add new jobs within the local community.

On October 12, the store, at 11 East Main Road, welcomed its first customers. This is Cellular Sales' second store in Rhode Island and their first in Middletown.

"It is exciting to see Cellular Sales expand in Rhode Island," said Cellular Sales Regional Director Brett Haven. "It is important to us to have the opportunity to serve more customers, and having a second store in Rhode Island allows us to do that."

The store currently employs eight team members with plans to add at least 16 new team members as the store continues to grow over the next year.
Cellular Sales has grown significantly over the past 25 years, due to their innovative approach to customer service. It has been named to Inc. Magazine's 5000 list of the fastest growing companies nine times, achieving Hall of Fame status.

Cellular Sales' recruits are trained for four to six weeks with senior sales reps before selling on their own, to equip new team members the best possible tools for success. Team members are encouraged to view themselves as entrepreneurs with the support of an established, successful company backing them up.

In addition to generating loyal and competent employees, the training and support is valuable from a personal and professional development aspect. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics expects demand for retail sales jobs to grow over the next decade and sales experience will be valuable.

"At Cellular Sales, our team members are our greatest asset and we're excited to have the opportunity to build a solid team," said Cellular Sales Regional Director Anthony Mills. "We are also very excited to have the chance to be a part of the Middletown community."

Cellular Sales seeks to hire individuals with a passion for customer service to work at its East Main Road store in Middletown. Those interested in applying for jobs at this Cellular Sales location may contact Cellular Sales Recruiter John Mills at (865) 805-6548 or john.mills(at)cellularsales(dot)com.
