GLUE 4.1 Now Out: Helps Build Java Web Services... Quickly

(June 25, 2003) - The Mind Electric (TME) has released version 4.1 of TME GLUE™. TME GLUE is a comprehensive Web services platform for Java developers creating, deploying, and managing applications with Web services, JSPs, and servlets. TME GLUE 4.1 provides an easy-to-use, high-performance, compact implementation of all the core Web services standards, including XML, SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI. Most important, it allows any Java object to be instantly published as a Web service and third-party Web services to be consumed as if they were local Java objects. TME GLUE can be plugged into any servlet engine and ships with its own high-performance servlet/JSP engine for out-of-the-box standalone use. TME GLUE 4.1 adds additional features and support for: TME GLUE is designed for early adopters of Web services wanting to build services quickly in Java. Ideal customers are Java developers already using either servlet engines, such as Tomcat, or older versions of application servers, such as BEA WebLogic 5.1, that do not provide Web services capabilities and who are looking to significantly lower subsequent new licenses and/or ongoing maintenance costs. TME GLUE 4.1 pricing begins at $2000 per runtime license and $1000 per developer seat. The product is available immediately from www.themindelectric.net/download.
