Swingtide unveiled the new products at the annual conference of ACORD, the non-profit global insurance standards organization.

Swingtide Monitor is the first software for monitoring the growth and business usage of heterogeneous XML networks, as opposed to the performance of their physical infrastructure. Swingtide Scorecard is a disciplined methodology for accelerating the ROI from XML Web services and Swingtide's solutions.

The new products are tailored to the specific needs of particular industries, beginning with insurance. This means that businesses can read, manipulate, and compare XML meta data using the terminology of their industries, such as "agent" and "policy" in the insurance industry. The Swingtide products are able to provide deep, industry-specific insight because they understand XML at the data payload level, where industry-specific details reside.

For the insurance industry, Swingtide has incorporated the complete ACORD P&C and Life XML standards into the software. The company will tailor the Swingtide product suite to additional industries in the coming months, including banking and securities trading.
