Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

Jet Source Announces Addition of High Performance Executive Jet to Take Passengers Coast-to-Coast
New aircraft - the Challenger 300 - enhances company's overall private jet fleet with greater capacity options

Jet Source, a full-service aviation firm, today announced the addition of a Challenger 300 to its executive private jet travel options.  The sophisticated, high-performance jet provides uncompromising capabilities for both business efficiency and passenger comfort. The new aircraft will be based at the company’s headquarters, the McClellan-Palomar Airport (KCRQ) base in Carlsbad, Calif.

“We’re always striving to be one step ahead of our clients’ demands,” noted Megan Cunningham, Vice President of Charter Services.  “The addition of the Challenger 300 provides the ability to travel with up to eight people, to a destination of choice.  Whether it’s a business team or a family vacation, our concierge service can equip clients’ with everything they need during travel – from healthy meal planning to celebratory champagne. Our clients know they can ‘consider it done.’”

Challenger 300
Client demand brought the Challenger 300 to Jet Source.  The new jet brings a new option for coast-to-coast travel with the comforts of home for business or pleasure with comfortable club seating, a full galley, and a large accessible baggage compartment.

·         Business travelers require access to productivity tools including a DVD player with two large monitors for presentations and a well-designed cabin interior to allow for productive strategy discussions.

·         Travel fun incorporating movies, games and tasty treats make for memorable family and group getaways with Jet Source. The company’s charter services team is ‘family friendly’ and keen to the likes and dislikes of kids and age groups, bringing peace of mind to parents.

Manufactured by Bombardier, the Challenger 300 accommodates eight passengers and can reach a high speed cruise of 540 mph with a 6.5 hour range.  Flights departing from Palomar Airport can reach destinations up to 3,800 miles away, which supports a notable boom in clients’ wishing to travel cross-country or internationally.

Jet Source’s fleet expansion coincides at the start of the company’s 10th year anniversary celebration.  In 2008, Jet Source will open a new, state-of-the-art facility in Henderson, Nevada, that will consist of two 35,000 square foot hangars and an executive terminal.  The new second location will offer aircraft charter, management, maintenance, avionics, and aircraft sales/acquisitions.

Since their inception ten years ago, Jet Source has successfully managed a fleet of aircraft including Gulfstreams, Challengers, Falcons, Hawker, Lears, Citations and King Airs.  The company proudly offers a full spectrum of available aircraft for anyone interested in private flight.
