The 1344 square foot Santana Row showroom is revolutionary as it features the world renowned BeoLiving concept -- Bang & Olufsen's solution to providing customized audio and video products that can connect lighting, draperies, and various atmosphere control modules to suit each and every customer's lifestyle all with the touch of one remote control. Additionally, the new owners of Bang & Olufsen Santana Row, Henry Wong and Lance Chu, are experts in the custom installation industry and are long-time specialists with the Bang & Olufsen brand and highly respected members of the San Jose community.

"With a twenty year tenure in home integration, we know what it takes to provide the ultimate customer experience and look forward to serving the Bay Area with state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen home theatres and home integration systems," said Henry Wong, co-owner of the Santana Row showroom. "Furthermore, with our expert installation team and superior Bang & Olufsen product offerings, we are thrilled to raise the bar in providing the utmost in home entertainment needs."

"Since 1925, Bang & Olufsen has pioneered the consumer electronics industry with unparalleled, high quality, audio and video systems," said Kim Gravesen, President of Bang & Olufsen America, Inc. "We are happy to further expand the company's tradition of excellence in design and technology to the San Jose market and are eager to welcome our new partners to the Bang & Olufsen family."

The store presents a dedicated home theater room displaying the all new BeoVision 9 -- Bang & Olufsen's new flagship home entertainment system. BeoVision 9, which earned an Innovations Honoree Award at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, raises the bar in home theater displays with its integrated center channel speaker utilizing the patented Acoustic Lens Technology which disperses sound at an even 180 degree angle throughout the room. BeoVision 9 can support a 7.1 surround sound setup with unprecedented sound and picture technologies. It also comes with an optional BeoMedia 1, a digital storage device that can transfer one's photos, digital music files, and Internet radio onto the television screen directly from the PC with the one-touch operation of the Beo4 remote control.

Additionally, customers and members of the media will receive a first hand demonstration of the powerful BeoLab 9 loudspeaker that has just arrived in all North American showrooms. BeoLab 9 delivers strong, pure sound and also utilizes Acousitc Lens Technology. It is multifunctional as it can be a stand alone audio set up for a home theater or can serve as a center, rear, or front channel speaker in a surround sound environment. The result is seamless integration into any room arrangement according to one's personal preference.
