MONTVALE, NJ, August 15, 2002 -- SYS-CON Media (www.sys-con.com), headquartered in Montvale, New Jersey, announced today that the most recent 6 month average circulation of Java Developer's Journal through June 2002, is 90,115. JDJ also delivered an all-time high circulation of 112,683 for the month of June 2002. The most recent circulation statement as well as all historical circulation numbers for Java Developer's Journal can be downloaded from the BPA International Web site, at www.bpai.com. "Our June 2002 BPA statement delivered a 50.2% higher circulation than our rate base," said Carmen Gonzalez, Executive Vice President of advertising sales for SYS-CON Media. "We have consistently exceeded our rate base since our first issue." "With our June 2002 issue, Java Developer's Journal has reached another record circulation," said Robyn Forma, advertising director of SYS-CON Media. "One of the reasons why most advertisers have decided to advertise only in JDJ is the unmatched value that we have been offering to all our media partners. A circulation of more than 90,000 with a rate base of 60,000 means that our advertising partners are receiving an incredible value for every advertising dollar that they invest." According to the publisher's projections, JDJ's average circulation is expected to exceed the 100,000 mark for the next 6 month period during the second half of 2002.
