Java Developer's Journal Bundles Microsoft Visual J++ 6.0 Technology Preview 1 at JavaOne Developer Conference
Java Developer's Journal Bundles Microsoft Visual J++ 6.0 Technology Preview 1 at JavaOne Developer Conference

SAN FRANCISCO, March 23 - SYS-CON Publications Inc. announced today that it will package and distribute the newly announced Microsoft Visual J++ 6.0 Technology Preview 1 with the current issue of Java Developer's Journal (JDJ).

Copies of Java Developer's Journal with the Visual J++ 6.0 Technology Preview 1 CD can be obtained at the JavaOne Developer Conference at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. The magazines will be available during the conference from March 24 through 27, 1998. "We will be distributing 15,000 bonus copies of the magazine at JavaOne," said Fuat Kircaali, publisher of JDJ and president of SYS-CON Pulications, Inc. "The special issue of JDJ, with a record circulation of 65,000 copies, will hit newsstands on April 7, 1998, and is expected to sell out."

"We chose Java Developer's Journal to introduce Visual J++ 6.0 to the Java community because of its vendor-neutral policy, high circulation and respected position in the Java media," said Jon Roskill, Microsoft Group Product Manager. "Microsoft Visual J++ 6.0 Technology Preview 1 is an easy way to harness the productivity of the Java language and the power of Windows to build high-performance, feature-rich applications and components."

NOTE: Microsoft, Visual J++ and Windows are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Microsoft Corp. in the United States and/or other countries.
