Big Apple Wallcoverings Introduces "No More Books"(TM) Kiosks to Retail Locations Throughout U.S.
Big Apple Wallcoverings Introduces "No More Books"(TM) Kiosks to Retail Locations Throughout U.S.

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/23/07 -- Big Apple Worldwide, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BPWW) is pleased to announce that their wholly owned subsidiary, Big Apple Wallcovering, Inc., is introducing their proprietary "No More Books"(TM) kiosks in retail locations throughout the United States. The stand-alone kiosks allow buyers to purchase products more easily and in less time, while offering retailers the opportunity to offer wallcovering products with reduced space requirements.

According to a 2004 Kiosk Industry Sector Report, office supply retailer Staples realized a 6% to 8% increase in sales after adding kiosks to their stores. The net benefit was $40 million per year on a $10 million investment. Retailers with the Big Apple Wallcovering kiosks will require no initial investment and will only take up four square feet of space.

"This is a win-win situation for retailers, consumers, and Big Apple Wallcovering. Consumers will now have access to one-stop shopping for home design products because they will be able to browse and purchase wallcoverings that match the rest of their decorating choices," stated Neal Jablon, President of Big Apple Worldwide, Inc.

The kiosks feature video instruction, freeing store employees to focus on other areas and products in their retail location. The orders or sample requests are placed immediately and electronically with Big Apple Wallcovering, which will process the orders, drop ship samples and follow up with the customer.
