Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

Enjoy Spa Days at Sea And Sleep Out Under the Stars
SeaDream Yacht Clubs Two New Offers

SeaDream Yacht Club is offering two “Enrich and Rejuvenate” Transatlantic sailings this spring with an emphasis on mental stimulation and its opposite---mental tranquility. Each SeaDream yacht features eight massage therapists providing an exceptional opportunity for massage and other treatments as well as Thai Chi and Yoga. Guests also have the opportunity to sleep out under the stars on these Transatlantic voyages.

The Transatlantic voyages, in April, are aboard SeaDream’s twin mega yacht cruisers SeaDream I and II and will sail from the Caribbean to Europe. Each not only offers lazy days at sea on the blue Atlantic, but also a roster of speakers on health and wellness, modern aviation, world affairs and music and art history.

The voyages are SeaDream I, April 16-30 from San Juan to Barcelona with a stop in Funchal, Madeira, and SeaDream II, April 30 to May 13 Barbados to Malaga, also with a stop in Funchal. Per person prices for the SeaDream I voyage are from $2,799 per person. Per person prices for the SeaDream II voyage are from $2,799. The sailings include all meals, wine with lunch dinner, an open bar and gratuities. Speakers are:

  SeaDream I, April 16, San Juan to Barcelona:

Dr. Abid Al-Maryati---Well-recognized world affairs lecturer whose specialty is the Middle East;
Dr. Theodore M. Berman---A physician specializing in sleep and pulmonary disorders;

SeaDream II, April 30, Barbados to Malaga:

Pete Finlay---Former Concorde pilot who traces the history of that revolutionary aircraft.
Harry Shapiro---Historian who traces music styles from Broadway to Jazz and Swing and presents profiles of music greats.
Maryann Zolota---Popular art historian whose lectures include meaningful color slide illustrations.

SeaDream Yacht Club is the yachting venture by Norwegian entrepreneur Atle Brynestad, who founded Seabourn Cruise Line, and Larry Pimentel who was President of Seabourn under Brynestad and later President and CEO of the merged Cunard and Seabourn. Pimentel is President and CEO of the Miami, Florida-headquartered SeaDream Yacht Club and a co-owner. Brynestad is Chairman. The company operates SeaDream I and SeaDream II, twin, ultra-luxury mega yacht cruisers that operate on mostly seven-day sailings in the Caribbean, South America, the Mediterranean, the Greek Islands and the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia. The yachts are not only ideal for discerning travelers seeking an unstructured experience but also for small meetings and incentive groups or individual private family gatherings. They are available for full charter. Recent honors, awards and accolades include:

SeaDream I and II shared the top Five Star Club award in the authoritative Berlitz Ocean Cruising and Cruise Ships 2007 guidebook. Berlitz guide author Douglas Ward created a special category “Utterly Exclusive” for only three vessels he said were above luxury. Of the three, two were SeaDream I and II. Conde Nast Traveler Magazine named SeaDream Yacht Club the “World’s Best Small Passenger Shipping Line” for 2006. Additionally, SeaDream scored higher than any other cruise line---large or small---in this Readers’ Poll--- and was the only cruise line rated in the top 100 “World’s Best Travel Experiences.” Further, Cruise Magazine, leading UK travel publication, named SeaDream I “World’s Best Small Cruise Vessel for 2006. In the Americas the SeaDream Yacht Club reservations number is 1 800 707-4911. In Europe it is +47 23 28 96 60. The website is www.seadreamyachtclub.com.
