Laser surgery specialist prepares exciting and diverse schedule for the 27th Annual IMS Symposium in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The European Association of Research Groups for Spinal Osteosinthesis (ArgoSpine for short) recently had its 17th International ArgoSpine Symposium in Paris, France. ArgoSpine's website explains that the group was founded in 1996 to "encourage applied research in the area of spinal surgery" with the symposium serving as a great way to foster open interaction and innovation within the orthopedic and back pain treatment community.

The director of the California Orthopaedic Medical Clinic and renowned expert of laser back surgery, Seyed M. Rezaian, M.D., Ph.D., F.R.C.S., F.I.C.S. was invited to attend the 2 day conference at the beginning of this month. There, Dr. Rezaian presented his Rezaian Spinal Fixator as the first and most effective spinal fixator for the treatment of fractures of the spine to the attendees. Keeping this incredible experience in mind, Dr. Rezaian is now gearing up for the 27th Annual IMS CME Symposium, of which he is serving as the program chairman.

The IMS CME Symposium is put on by the non-profit Iranian Medical Society (IMS) in order to provide continuing medical education (CME). The aim of the conference, according to the IMS website, is to "advance the knowledge and skills of physicians in order to improve the quality of patient care" from various medical and surgical backgrounds with specific attention to the concerns and needs of the Iranian-American physician community.

Taking place at the UCLA Faculty Center on March 2nd, the symposium will unite medical professionals from diverse fields including but not limited to healthcare lawyers, breast cancer experts, ophthalmologists, and, of course, Dr. Rezaian's expertise on herniated disc treatment back surgery. Dr. Rezaian will also be presenting the introduction to the symposium, using his comfort from his decades of experience in the medical profession to inform the details of his speech. After Dr. Rezaian's speech, the 27th Annual IMS CME Symposium will proceed as usual, touching upon unique concerns of the Iranian-American community, like certain eye problems, food allergies, childhood obesity, cancers, heart conditions, spinal surgery, and much more. Registration can be completed the day of the IMS Symposium between 7 and 8 AM.
