Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

Radiant Logic Helps Preempt Cyber-Theft With RSA(R) Distributed Credential Protection Upgrade to RadiantOne
The Update to the Federated Identity System Leverages Innovative Credential Protection From RSA to Help Negate the Value of Hacking the Identity Repository

NOVATO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/21/13 -- Leading identity and context virtualization provider Radiant Logic has released a new version of its award-winning RadiantOne federated identity service, bringing with it support for game-changing RSA® Distributed Credential Protection (DCP) technology to help protect their virtual directory.

Recent major cyber security breaches at some of the web's largest service providers compromised millions of credentials and have highlighted the need for more robust protection of secret information. These repositories act as "honeypots," holding valuable credentials for huge numbers of users and luring attackers seeking a big score.

Newly-developed RSA Distributed Credential Protection technology is designed to counter this vulnerability by cryptographically scrambling, randomizing, and splitting credentials and passwords across multiple servers, forcing an attacker not only to breach two locations, but also to do so in a compressed period of time. The contents of each server are nonsense without simultaneous access to the corresponding servers and post decryption processing. Should a breach be detected in any one repository, the system is engineered so that it can be immediately re-randomized and refreshed, rendering the stolen data permanently worthless.

Radiant Logic CEO Michel Prompt explains: "It's a bit like how we won the Cold War through deterrence -- by keeping valuable data distributed, launching a 'first strike' to capture passwords is no longer effective. Even a successful first strike -- breaching a single data source -- reveals nothing but one half of the unreadable data, and as soon as one data source is compromised, the contents of the others can be re-scrambled, so that even subsequent breaches of other sources will not provide the complete credential information."

"RadiantOne consolidates and 'firewalls' identity information," says Nirav Mehta, Director of Product Management, Identity, and Data Protection, at RSA. "By making RSA Distributed Credential Protection interoperable with RadiantOne, Radiant Logic has helped enable customers to protect both identity information and passwords at large scale. We are delighted that the plug-and-play interoperability of the two products will help our joint customers easily deploy the solution and significantly reduce the risk of mass password theft."

The addition of RSA Distributed Credential Protection support to RadiantOne adds strong flexibility and security to Radiant Logic's identity virtualization platform. Radiant Logic's software enables companies to deliver single sign-on and robust authorization by virtualizing and consolidating identity about users from across diverse and overlapping repositories. By incorporating support for on-the-fly processing of RSA Distributed Credential Protection-stored secret credentials, RadiantOne can now offer the best of both worlds: enterprises can harness the flexibility and sophistication of services that large comprehensive identity data stores offer, while achieving the transparent, advanced security levels that a next-generation technology like RSA Distributed Credential Protection affords.

RadiantOne v. 6.1 is globally available now.
