cloudhosting14 wrote: As you would already know that managed hosting itself is another form of Cloud hosting in which the system administrations of servers is looked upon by the CPs. Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

Anuta Networks Accelerates the Delivery of Software Defined Data Centers
Anuta nCloudX now includes integration with VMware vCloud Director

Anuta Networks, a provider of network services virtualization solutions, on Thursday announced three new product enhancements for its nCloudX platform to enable cloud service providers and enterprises to achieve the promise of the software defined data center. Specifically, Anuta nCloudX now includes integration with VMware vCloud Director, support for virtual appliances from multiple vendors and integration with OpenStack.

“We are confident about the evolution of Software Defined Data Center, and the role of Virtual Appliances in the L2-L7 services. Anuta brings a unique technology of Network Service Orchestration for the Software Defined Data Center,” said Tomohiro Iwamoto, General Manager, Net One Systems, Japan. “We believe that there is a strong requirement for this type of technology and solutions in Japanese market.”

Key New Features of Anuta nCloudX:

  • VMware vCloud Director Integration
The VMware vCloud Director (vCD) networking model delivers multi-tenancy through virtual networks dedicated for a tenant, in the compute layer. The Anuta Networks nCloudX Connector for VMware is designed to bring the nCloudX capability to VMware customers seeking to manage both virtual and physical networking resources directly within the vCloud Director. The Anuta nCloudX Connector for VMware automates the creation and management of multi-vendor network resources required by vCloud and eliminates manual configuration steps and handoffs between the server administrators and the network administrators. Bridging this gap creates cloud automation across the infrastructure stack for heterogeneous multi-vendor networks.
  • Support for Virtual Appliances from Multiple Vendors
The industry is transitioning to deploying L2-L7 services in a virtual appliance form-factor (e.g. virtual routers, virtual switches, virtual firewalls and virtual load-balancers). With the latest release, Anuta nCloudX offers support for leading L2-L7 virtual service appliance offerings from multiple vendors and also offers out-of the box support for features such as virtual appliance life cycle management including image management, service definitions, commissioning, repurposing, and decommissioning. Anuta nCloudX offers the industry’s first on-demand network service orchestration for Cisco VSG, Cisco ASA 1000V, Cisco CSR1000V, Cisco Nexus 1000V, VMware DVS, Citrix NetScaler VPX, F5 BIG-IP and Riverbed Stingray ADC.
  • OpenStack Integration:
Anuta Networks has developed a Quantum plug-in for the nCloudX platform, enabling OpenStack customers to request network services through nCloudX. Anuta nCloudX will deliver those network services using both physical and virtual networks and new generation SDN technologies from multiple vendors.

The Anuta Networks Solution

The breakthrough Anuta Networks nCloudX platform simplifies and automates the complete lifecycle of network services in complex, heterogeneous networks across multi-vendor, multi-hypervisor and multi-device, including physical and virtual infrastructures in both private and public cloud deployments. The solution reduces delivery time from weeks to a few hours for deploying multi-tenant network and services, through visual dynamic service designer and efficient software automation, on top of a combination of the existing hardware-controlled networks and the new generation of SDN technologies.
