Love Bites: Valentine's Day Fare for Beginner and Novice Cooks Featured on Portico TV's CHOW.com Channel
30-Minute Valentine's Program Hosted by CHOW.com's Jane Goldman Runs Through Thursday, February 14, on Net2TV's Portico Smart TV Service

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/13/13 -- Get ready to feed your sweetheart something special this Valentine's Day with help and inspiration from the CHOW.com channel on Portico TV (www.porticoTV.com). Airing now through February 14, the "CHOW Theme Show" on Portico TV features Valentine's dinner tips about wine and cheese pairings, pan-seared steak for two, chocolate fondue and the proper way to pour sparkling wines. The program even demonstrates "plating" for the most romantic presentation. All CHOW shows on the Portico smart TV service run 30 minutes or longer. CHOW's editor-in-chief, Jane Goldman, hosts the Valentine's show.

"Food expresses love," said Goldman. "And our CHOW team wants to help you express yours this Valentine's Day. We have taken some of our favorite videos and packaged them into a long-form Valentine's Day program you can watch on your TV."

The CHOW.com channel on Portico TV is easy to navigate. When viewers select the channel, the screen displays a video window with Goldman talking about the shows available to watch that week including "The CHOW Theme Show," "Supertaster," "CHOW Tips," "Obsessives" and "Cooking with Grandma." Viewers can select any of these 30-minute programs to go to full screen, then can continue watching other programs on the channel for three or more hours without stopping or buffering.
