Nominations Now Open for Tech Awards Circle to Recognize Industry's Best Products, Vendors, Execs

AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 02/13/13 -- Nominations are now open for the annual Tech Awards Circle (www.techawardscircle.com), a uniquely unbiased, independent awards program honoring vendors and individuals leading the technology industry today. The entry deadline is April 15, 2013.

Tech Awards Circle recognizes the "best of the best" and provides validation that a vendor or executive is a key innovator in the field, and that a product/solution is exceptional in its category.

"We expect nominations in this year's Tech Awards Circle to represent today's diverse, evolving, exciting technology landscape, from SMB environment all the way to big data and cloud computing," said Kevin Anderson, awards program coordinator. "Each year, since our founding in 2009, we have been impressed by the caliber and quality of the nominated people, products and companies -- and the opportunity to honor their contributions to their customers and their industry as a whole."

Tech Awards Circle was established to offer a level playing field in which early stage companies may be judged fairly against established ones, without the influence of big advertising budgets and contracts with top analyst firms. Winners of past awards represent a broad range of achievements, from hardware to software to services in SMB, midrange, and enterprise markets, from startups to established players.

Tech Awards Circle also honors talented executive leadership and engineering innovators. A gold, silver and bronze award is given out in each category.

How to enter
Nominations are now being accepted online at www.techawardscircle.com. Online nomination forms are easy to complete and the $250 entry fee is minimal.

About Tech Awards Circle
Tech Awards Circle was established to truly honor the "best of the best" in technology. Tech Awards Circle is not affiliated with an analyst firm or a media company, both of which are directly supported by tech vendors through consulting relationships or advertising sales, so it is uniquely unbiased and immune to conflicts of interest. Entries are judged by an independent circle of journalists, including product reviewers, each with at least a decade of experience covering technology from consumer electronics to enterprise-class computing. To prevent these judges from being unduly influenced by vendors, they have agreed to remain anonymous. For more information, a list of past winners, or to be added to the mailing list please visit www.techawardscircle.com.
