Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Giulio Barbieri The Revolution in the EV Charging Stations' Design

POGGIO RENATICO, Italy, February 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

VOLT-POINT is on the Market: The First Charging Point Installed Without Anchoring to the Ground and Resistant to Vandalism and Theft Attempts

The company Giulio Barbieri S.p.A. goes further unabated on the way of innovation. Soon a world new product will be available on the market: VOLT POINT, the first and unique charging station for any kind of electric vehicles, characterised by an exclusive and elegant design. The case is completely made of reinforced concrete, therefore its installation requires neither foundations and it can be easily moved to another location. In addition it guarantees a great resistance to vandalism and theft.

The versatile ev charging unit is provided in different versions: for the recharge of electric bikes, pedelecs, e-scooters or for the recharge of electric cars in both the standard or rapid charging mode.

VOLT POINT for e-bikes is the only charging station equipped with lockers, where the user can leave the battery or/and the battery charger for safekeeping until the end of the charging period, avoiding the risk of theft or damage.

The basic version of the new charging unit is accessible thanks to a RFID system, which authorizes the identified user to charge the vehicle. In addition a touchscreen display guides the user through the charging phases. On demand the charging station can be equipped with a more sophisticated remote control system, that can manage the payment, find and book online the charging station and other services available on requirement.

The stainless steel front panel represents a great opportunity for the operator to personalise the charging station with advertisements or logos.

Last but not least there is the possibility to install on the top of the column an advertising panel or an extra interactive touchscreen display to offer citizens a useful and attractive city information service point.

Together with the charging unit some well-coordinated elements of street furniture can be combined, like the hi-tech bench equipped with low voltage sockets for the recharge of mobiles, smartphones and other portable devices.

Giulio Barbieri S.p.A. invites you at the HANNOVER MESSE (8th to 12th April, 2013) Pavillon 1 - Metropolitan Solutions STAND F18: fundamental international rendez-vous for the experts of the renewable energy sector to present their innovative solutions about e-mobility. A special discount will be offered the first 20 purchasers of the VOLT POINT charging infrastructure.
