Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. Intergraph(R) PV Elite Webinar on February 14th to Discuss Historical Use of Units and Measurements in Engineering

HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 02/07/13 -- Intergraph is hosting a PV Elite webinar on February 14, 2013 on the historical use of units and measurements, including how improvements in our understanding of the environment and technology have impacted the complex engineering world. The webinar will feature PV Elite 2013 with major advancements that increase productivity and streamline vessel and exchanger design and analysis. The webinar leader will be Ray Delaforce from the PV Elite support and maintenance team.

PV Elite 2013 updates include the PD 5500 2012 Edition, the Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association (TEMA) 9th Edition, and the Australia/New Zealand (AS/NZ) 2011 wind code. Enhancements include a new ribbon-style user interface and a completely new CodeCalc® modern-style application for component analysis. New analysis features include integrated API 579 Part 4 for analyzing general metal loss, ASME VIII-1 material data for 1943 through 1974, PD 5500 jacket and limpet coil analysis codes, several new European Standard EN 13445 analysis capabilities, the European nozzle load table, the Japanese wind code, the Indian earthquake code, and numerous other analysis codes and tools for global applications.
