Alpheus Communications, a leading provider of Texas metro-regional fiber and networking solutions, today announced that Matt Milliron has joined the company as senior vice president of enterprise and channel sales. Milliron is responsible for growing and further developing Alpheus’ direct and indirect sales.

Alpheus’ enterprise network services, including Metro Ethernet, MPLS, E-LAN, data center colocation and business-class voice solutions, provide the performance and uptime guarantee required for mission-critical data, voice and video traffic while also helping customers connect multiple locations with ease. In 2012, Alpheus announced a $10-million investment to expand its fiber network and enterprise-focused workforce.

Milliron is a proven sales leader in key Alpheus markets including Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth.

Prior to joining Alpheus, Milliron was regional vice president of sales for Airband Communications, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the direct sales channel; previously, Milliron held sales and general manager roles with Cbeyond. Milliron earned a bachelor’s of business administration from Texas Christian University, where he graduated cum laude.
