I do not agree that NewSQL vendors focus on giving scale-out features to transactional data. The NewSQL market is focusing on giving true ACID support combined with extreme performance, stepping away from the traditional relational structures in databases. A lot of developers appreciate the ease of accessing data using SQL and I think we will see more and more databases supporting standard SQL. As you said - NewSQL databases often maintain the...

Elite Traders Group Reports on Copper Stocks: (OTCQB: VKML), (OTCQB: CNYC), (NYSE: FCX)
The Following Is an Investment Opinion Being Issued by the Elite Traders Group LLC

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 02/04/13 -- Elite Traders Group Reports On Copper Stocks

Global demand for copper is expected to increase by 3.4% in 2013 and the price has jumped 7% in the past 90 days. China consumes 40% of the world copper supply and the Chinese economy seems to be recovering from its recent slump, with estimates for a sustained 7-8% annual growth rate. A more robust economic recovery in China could send copper prices even higher. With the price of some other investment grade metals such as gold, silver, palladium and platinum experiencing softer prices, copper may be a growth area for investors in mining stocks.

Viking Minerals Inc. (OTCQB: VKML) Viking Minerals Inc. operates as a pre-exploration stage company in the United States. It focuses on acquiring and developing gold, silver, copper, and other metal properties. The share price in VKML was $7.00 last summer and it slid to $.01/share by the middle of January. Since then the share price has increased to $.03/share on volumes that far exceed the daily average of 2 million shares. VKML is in the process of raising funds to acquire Discovery Day Gold Mine -Trinity Alps Resources Inc. The company has to pay $ 15 million for the acquisition. Is this an opportunity to invest in the rising price of copper?

Market Cap $4.98 million
Shares outstanding - 151 million (as at 11-14-12)
52 week price range - $.01 - $7.00/share
Current price - $.033/share

Canyon Copper Corp (OTCQB: CNYC) is an exploration stage company, engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in western United States. CNYC is a fully reporting OTC enterprise with audited financial statements. In its SEC 8-K filed last week the company detailed the terms of an agreement with Sanfield Resources to invest in their Moonlight property, a mining venture that CNYC has options on.

52 week price range - $.04-$.155
30 day average trading volume - 22,575 shares/day
Shares outstanding - 68.7 million
Last price - $.046/share

Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold, Inc. (NYSE: FCX) is expected to mine 4.3 billion pounds of copper in 2013 and is a company with $18 billion in revenue. The company is the largest publicly traded producer of copper in the world. In press releases FCX has stated its intent to increase copper production to 5 billion pounds (+16%) by 2015. EPS for the trailing twelve months was $3.18 and analysts expect that to grow by 42% in 2013. The market has supported a P/E multiple of eleven for FCX and if the earnings grow, as analysts expect, the share price should follow. Due to FCX's position in the copper markets, its fortunes are somewhat tied to the price of copper. These shares are currently trading in the $35-36 range and have a 52 week high of $47.
