Celtic International today announced that Steven Golich has joined the company as president. Golich will report to past-president Rich Hyland who will remain at Celtic as CEO and as a board member of Transplace. This change will allow Hyland to focus on strategic initiatives for the combined companies while also continuing to play a key role in developing the company he built during the last 10 years.

Prior to his role at Celtic, Golich served as senior vice president and general manager of Alliance Shippers. He also served as vice president, general manager and co-owner of Selective Distribution. Previously, he was president of Acme Motor Freight and The Nu-Trans Companies, both based in Chicago. Golich earned his bachelor’s in business marketing from Northern Illinois University.
