In the article you mentioned the low power benefit, and mentioned the HP computer, as low cost solution, but I think that our product the Cubox that Costs 120$ and needs only 3 Watt of power could be another excellent solution.

GT Software, a leading provider of enterprise modernization solutions, has announced that it will present and exhibit its modernization, integration and migration solutions at the SHARE Conference Booth #604, February 3-8, 2013 in San Francisco.

The SHARE Conference, for which IBM is a strategic partner, focuses on providing an in-depth educational experience for IT professionals, systems analysts and programmers.

“We have been working closely with IBM to stay abreast of the direction IBM is taking with its CICS project. In doing so, we have been able to develop our product enhancements to maximize and exploit new features and functionality offered in the CICS Transaction Server,” says Steve Able, GT Software CTO and a veteran of the mainframe industry with over 34 years of experience in software architecture, design and programming.

GT Software sessions at SHARE will focus on innovative solutions for modernizing the IBM System z platform. Sessions include:

Continued CICS Commitment to SOA. Tuesday, February 5, 12:15pm, Steve Able explores how IBM’s commitment to CICS and SOA principles continues to be a solid foundation for new technology initiatives. The presentation reviews the top 10 IT industry technology challenges expected for 2013, and how innovative development practices could ignite the transformation of an enterprise into an agile competitive organization ready to overcome challenges.

IMS Modernization: Cloud, Mobile and More. Tuesday, February 5, 9:30am, Dusty Rivers will discuss how users seeking to modernize legacy IMS systems are taking steps to integrate their backbone system with cloud, mobile and other technologies. This presentation includes user cases and demos.

CICS and Web Services: Why, When and How? Tuesday, February 5, 3:00pm, Glenn Schneck will discuss how today’s fast-paced environment demands that CICS be available to any application that requires mainframe data. Live demo is included.
