Sam's Club Makes Game Day Parties Super with Exclusive Offers, Free Cake*
Texas members enjoy substantial savings on football-focused supplies from flat screens to finger food

DALLAS, Jan. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The football season comes to its exciting close Sunday, Feb. 3 with the most-watched event on television, and Sam's Club stands ready to help avid fans and amateur viewers alike prep for the big game.

Serious game watchers can depend on large pack sizes from Sam's Club for brand-named chips, dips and drinks for four quarters of super-snacking, while trophy-seeking hosts will impress with premium quality bake-and-serve appetizers and delicious game day themed cakes. For those who wish to take the guesswork out of entertaining, Sam's Club offers a free game day cake with cupcakes to all new Sam's Club members that sign up from Jan. 28 through Feb. 3.*

"At Sam's Club, our Texas-area members find no greater joy than to entertain friends and family during football season," said Corbett Jennings, Vice President-Regional General Manager at Sam's Club. "New lower prices and savings will make any gathering a super success."

Big appetites aside, game day means big eyes focused on the big screen. Just in time for the kickoff, Sam's Club offers great savings on Vizio 70-inch LED Smart TV for $1,598, a 60-inch TV for $888, or a Soundbar for $179 starting Jan. 23 (a $20 Instant Savings); or a Samsung 55-inch television for $1,248 starting Jan. 20.

New lower prices on select food items will be available Jan. 30, giving members plenty of time to stock up before the big game. Deals range from five pounds of Tyson cooked chicken wings for $15.48 to an 84-count Artisan Fresh cookie tray for $20.98. Sam's Club also has savings on soda, beer and bottled water and paper towels, cups and plates. Ready-to-eat food and snacks or ingredients to prepare your own game-day recipes – such as Pretzel-Crusted Sausage Bites – are available throughout the clubs and at SamsClub.com/meals.

Whichever occasion gathers friends and family to celebrate, the international cheeses, desserts and wine selection from Sam's Club will spruce up Oscars night and Grammy Awards gatherings, too.
