The Bank posted a $509 thousand profit for the period, representing the 14th successive quarter of profitable operations and record quarterly earnings for the five-year-old Bank. Profit for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2012 was a record $1.8 million and represented a 29% increase in earnings compared to the same period-ended December 31, 2011. For the 12-month period, shareholders' equity increased by 11% to $20.8 million, while total assets increased by 18% to $168.8 million. At 12-31-12, the Bank's equity capital was in excess of the Regulatory Definitions for "well capitalized" distinction.
