Epi-Foam Compression Foam, Designed for Post-Operative Liposuction Care, Only from Biodermis
Biodermis is the only internationally recognized liposuction compression foam supplier in the United States. Biodermis specifically designed Epi-Foam for use as a post-surgical compression foam for body contouring and liposuction procedures.

HENDERSON, Nev., Jan. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Epi-Foam is a unique, self-adhering medical grade silicone-backed post-operative compression foam device. It is worn immediately after both traditional and ultra-sonic liposuction procedures and provides a more even compression distribution. Improving compression distribution can assist in smoothing the skin and helping to reduce the "wavering" or "rippling" effect frequently associated with liposuction.  It can also help in reducing post-operative bruising and swelling.

Epi-Foam adheres gently to the skin by using the highest quality medical grade silicone. The adhesion is just enough to keep the pad in place, thus minimizing blistering or shearing.  Furthermore, silicone won't stick to the skin or cause pain and discomfort when removed, as typically experienced when using Reston™.

Unprecedented patient comfort is achieved by using only the most advanced soft, small cell, polyurethane materials to create the compression barrier between the patient's skin and the post-operative garment.  Polyurethane foam also provides for exceptional conformance to three-dimensional contours such as hips, waist, thighs, and chins.

"We believe Epi-Foam post-operative compression pads fill a gap in the post-operative recovery market, providing patients with unmatched comfort, minimized pain, and superior results that are simply not possible with any other product."
Jeff Schleuning, Ph.D. EVP, Partner, Biodermis

Each Epi-Foam pad is 7.75" x 11.50" and they are packaged in sets of three.

Established in 1988, Biodermis has been recognized for its innovative contributions to the scar management and post-operative care industry for more than 25 years. For more information regarding Epi-Foam, log on at biodermis.com or call (702) 260-4466.
