Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

BinWise, Inc. Launches New Winery Product Providing Unprecedented Knowledge
BinWise, Inc. partners with top California wine producers to launch innovative product placement dashboard, BinWisePlacement.

SAN FRANCISO, Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- BinWise, Inc., the leading cloud-based software managing restaurant beverage programs, is excited to announce the launch of the product placement dashboard on January 31. For the first time, wineries will have real time visibility of their on-list products on a cloud-based platform. BinWisePlacement will be the first of many world-class products geared towards improving efficiency of ordering wine.

"We believe this new technology will allow wineries to more closely manage brand awareness, streamline the three-tier system and provide an open line of communication with key restaurant accounts," says BinWise President and CEO Doug Hickey. "It's going to be a game changer."

BinWise has carefully selected its launching partners from some of the top wineries in the U.S., which include Iron Horse Vineyards, Rudd Winery and Miner Family Wines.

"Knowledge is power," says Joy Sterling, CEO Iron Horse Vineyards. "I think it is very powerful to know how we are positioned on the top wine lists in the country."

BinWisePlacement is the only product showing publicly available real time wine list placement data on a single dashboard. BinWise collects public data through its restaurant product RealWineLists, and filters it into a powerful marketing tool for wineries. Participating wineries will receive visibility over on-list and off-list products; a producer profile, which will be featured across the BinWise portal; and real time customer contact information.

"This will be unprecedented knowledge and access," says Rudd Winery VP of Marketing and Sales Drew Hendricks. "No more pulling multiple depletion reports to find out where your wine is listed. I look forward to using this tool to better communicate about Rudd to the top buyers in the country."

Up until now, wineries have received monthly depletion reports from distributors which are based off of sales and often outdated. BinWise is revolutionizing the way wineries market and communicate to restaurant buyers through BinWisePlacement.

"BinWisePlacement will help us be more responsive to restaurants' needs, which will make us a better partner," says Miner Family Winery Owner & Operator David Miner. "Through better communication, we will be able to keep our inventory at more appropriate levels."

BinWisePlacement will be available to wineries on January 31, and is currently being tested in beta with winery launching partners.

"Being one of the launch partners heightens our visibility in a select community of tastemakers," says Sterling of Iron Horse Vineyards. "And it provides a forum for sharing our entire portfolio. It's a wonderful two way street."

Restaurant groups currently using RealWineLists are the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, Mozza Group, Alta Marea Group, Rosewood Hotels, CorkBuzz and A16. Clients use BinWise to manage not only wine, but also beer, spirits, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, cigars, food and glassware.
