HUNTSVILLE, AL -- (Marketwire) -- 01/15/13 -- United Data Technologies (UDT), a Florida-based IT solutions company that opened an office in Nashville just three years ago, is now launching another office in Huntsville, AL, as part of the company's rapid expansion throughout the southern United States.

The office will open this spring offering account management services, senior engineering capabilities and best-in-class consulting services to both the public and private sectors. UDT will target specific markets such as the K-12/University, Aerospace, Defense and Information Security solutions industries, and maximizing strategic partnerships with world-class IT companies such as HP, VMware, EMC, and Cisco.

In addition to professional expertise, UDT will also incorporate social responsibility initiatives by participating in the local Chamber of Commerce and donating to local charities, a practice that has benefited the communities we serve through an annual golf fundraiser.

UDT has already been recognized for outstanding business practices in the Tennessee area by the Nashville Business Journal, which listed the company as a finalist for its 2012 Best in Business Awards.

"UDT continues to set the standard of excellence in every market where we're located," said Scott Byers, UDT's vice president of sales for the mid-south region. "We look forward to expanding our brand to Huntsville/North Alabama and having a positive impact."

United Data Technologies was launched in 1995 as a startup. The company is now a multimillion dollar powerhouse with a diversified workforce of over 100 employees with offices in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas and Kentucky.
