SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- C.R. England, a Salt Lake City-based global transportation provider, has named Josh England as the company's new Chief Financial Officer. "I am pleased to see Josh step into this critically important role in our company," said Dan England, C.R. England's Chairman of the Board.  "He has been preparing for this position for many years and his wide range of financial expertise will be critical to our goals of continued growth and profitability.  Keith Wallace has set a high standard for our financial operations and developed a strong team for Josh to build upon. We will certainly miss Keith's contributions to meeting our corporate financial objectives."

Since 2009, Mr. England has served as the President of England Logistics. England Logistics provides non-asset transportation solutions via road, rail, ocean, and air and is among the largest and most diverse third-party logistics companies in the nation.  Under his direction, England Logistics grew to become the nation's 10th largest freight brokerage and he guided the company to above-market growth rates and returns.

In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. England's primary responsibilities will include financial management and oversight of the England companies and related enterprises, including financial reporting, equipment financing, budgeting, billing and collections and weekly payroll for several thousand employees and drivers.

In 2012, Mr. England was recognized by Utah Business magazine as a 40 Under 40 award winner.  He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Utah with a bachelor's in business management and received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Mr. Wallace is retiring after 20 years of service to C.R. England. Mr. Wallace joined the England organization in 1993 to structure a newly created entrepreneurial role in England Dedicated Services, a division providing customized transportation solutions.  This division continues today as a major contributor to the England enterprises. In 1997, Mr. Wallace was promoted to Chief Financial Officer.

In 2010, Mr. Wallace was honored by Utah Business magazine as one of its CFOs of the Year. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Utah and serves on the University of Utah's Alumni Association Board of Directors as well as the Utah Board of U.S. Bank. Prior to joining England, Mr. Wallace was employed as a certified public accountant, real estate developer and lease executive. Mr. Wallace will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for C.R. England and will consult for the company on real estate transactions.
