As Executive Vice President of Sales, Kathleen Connolly will be responsible for driving revenue, customer engagement and improved ROI for the Business Technology Events group.  Connolly comes to the position with 25 years of sales and management experience in IT media, events, content syndication services, call-center and demand generation services, with 19 of those years spent with UBM (originally with CMP).  Most recently, Connolly was Vice President of Sales at UBM Studios selling interactive digital environments in markets outside of UBM with businesses like MaryKay Cosmetics and JCI. Prior to joining Studios, Connolly spent 10 years in the UBM Channel group where she worked with many of the larger strategic accounts like Cisco, Juniper, Oracle and others. She began her career at UBM in CMP's TechWeb group and held both sales and management positions at InformationWeek, Network Computing, and other IT media brands.

"With over 20 years leading tech media sales and in multiple sales leadership roles, Kathleen is a talented and proven sales leader and we are excited to have her leading the sales efforts for the Business Technology Events division of UBM Tech," said Marco Pardi, President, UBM Tech Business Technology Events Group.

There is no stronger evidence of action than a qualified buyer taking time to join one of our events. It is quite a testament to the work our content teams have done. I look forward to working with our sponsors on best practices so they can continue to drive maximized return for their investment with us."
