Kii Brings Mobile App Developers Center Stage at CES 2013

Kii Corp. is bringing together mobile developers at CES 2013 by sponsoring MoDev’s inaugural Hackathon to find the hottest new apps and featuring a special CEA Developer University presentation that shares secrets on how to create mobile apps in the cloud. At the show, developers can try the recently launched Kii Cloud, a mobile cloud backend service to help developers quickly bring their apps to market, which currently hosts over 25 million end users.

Developers at CES 2013 will use Kii Cloud to rapidly develop and launch cloud-based mobile applications. They will be able to focus on making their applications compelling, while letting Kii Cloud take care of the infrastructure part of app development. Joining forces with sponsors Samsung, Sony, Facebook and Microsoft, Kii gives developers a venue to learn about the latest mobile development technologies and a chance to win some incredible prizes just for doing what they love — making cool apps.

“With the explosive growth in mobile application usage, there’s tremendous opportunity for developers to create new applications that change how we interact with each other and how we conduct our daily lives,” said Yuan Weigel, vice president of marketing at Kii Corp. “Because CES has always been at the forefront of the coolest new technologies, it’s the ideal venue to showcase the talents and innovation of up-and-coming and established mobile developers alike. We’re thrilled to partner with CEA to show developers how effortless Kii makes it to turn their vision into reality.”
