Alcatel-Lucent Showcases Cloud-Based ng Connect Services Including MyMedicalRecords Telehealth Portal

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/03/13 -- MMRGlobal, Inc. (OTCQB: MMRF) ("MMR") today announced that its patented MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record (PHR) and telehealth portal will be showcased as part of 12 new Alcatel-Lucent (EURONEXT PARIS: ALU) (NYSE: ALU) cloud-based ng Connect services in the Alcatel-Lucent ng Connect Booth 31412 at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show, January 8-11, in Las Vegas (see Alcatel-Lucent press release). MMR's Personal Health Record will be a part of the Connected Health and Wellness cloud-based services that bridge the gap between consumer personalized health and wellness programs and professional, secure telehealth services. This service enables the sharing of information between patient and doctor using the Alcatel-Lucent Telepresence Collaboration Suite (see Alcatel-Lucent CES 2013 Press Kit).

The professional telehealth service provides patients with a private and secure environment for interacting remotely with their medical practitioners. It employs a video conferencing system utilizing life-size images and eye contact for the most realistic telepresence experience possible. Using the system, documents from a MyMedicalRecords PHR can be shared with providers in real-time through collaborative displays. At CES, MMR will be part of an Alcatel-Lucent idea showcase aimed at stimulating application innovation for consumers by connecting devices like smartphones and tablets to Personal Health Records. MyMedicalRecords can also receive protected personal health information into a telemedicine inbox which is already included inside of every MyMedicalRecords.com PHR.

The ng Connect Program, founded by Alcatel-Lucent, is a multi-industry "ecosystem" dedicated to the creation of the next-generation user experience for connected consumers. Among the most recent members to join the ng Connect ecosystem is Sprint, the first North America service provider to become part of the program. The ng Connect program is comprised of more than 190 member companies that include MMRGlobal, Samsung, Intel, Sprint, Kyocera, HP, Idealab, IMAX, Telecom Italia, and others (http://www.ngconnect.org/members/collaborating-members.htm).

MyMedicalRecords' untethered services can connect to virtually any product or service that creates patient information related to health and wellness. Through ng Connect, MMR is identifying tomorrow's opportunities to combine its patented health information technologies with other member products and services.

MMRGlobal's secure and easy-to-use online Personal Health Record serves consumers, healthcare professionals, employers, insurance companies, financial institutions, professional organizations and affinity groups. The MyMedicalRecords PHR enables individuals and families to access and share their medical records and other important documents, such as copies of birth certificates, passports, insurance policies and wills, anytime from anywhere using an Internet-connected device.

About MMRGlobal, Inc.
MMRGlobal, Inc., through its wholly-owned operating subsidiary, MyMedicalRecords, Inc., provides secure and easy-to-use online Personal Health Records ("PHRs") and electronic safe deposit box storage solutions, serving consumers, healthcare professionals, employers, insurance companies, financial institutions, and professional organizations and affinity groups. The MyMedicalRecords PHR enables individuals and families to access their medical records and other important documents, such as birth certificates, passports, insurance policies and wills, anytime from anywhere using the Internet. The Company's professional offering, MMRPro, is designed to give physicians' offices an easy and cost-effective solution to digitizing paper-based medical records and sharing them with patients in real time through an integrated patient portal. Through its merger with Favrille, Inc. in January 2009, the Company acquired intellectual property biotech assets that include anti-CD20 antibodies and data and samples from its FavId™/Specifid™ vaccine clinical trials for the treatment of B-Cell Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
