The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals celebrated another milestone in June.  Julie J. Haiko started at the company 10 years ago on June 24, 1996.  A special luncheon in her honor took place at the Lauderdale Yacht Club on June 29th.  Julie joined The Sacks Group as the third employee of the firm and has watched the "Team" grow over these past 10 years. She has worked in every aspect of the Company and is presently the Executive Assistant to Jennifer M. Saia, President and Charter Specialist.

    "Ten Years!!  Who would have thought I'd be here this long when I started in 1996," exclaimed Julie.  "It has been quite an experience watching the Company grow and growing with it.  We started out in one small office and now we've expanded to encompass all four divisions under one roof," she continued.

    In keeping with her tropical heritage, the Yacht Club was decorated with palm trees, coconuts and hanging fruits.  After champagne and hors d'oeuvres, the current staff and several former employees sat down to enjoy a sumptuous lunch followed by a special tropical cheesecake topped with fresh fruits. Past and current staff members recounted fond memories and humorous anecdotes. Jennifer reflected on the times, life and other important steps in which Julie was involved over the years and ended by presenting her with a beautiful memento of The Sacks Group. 
   
    "Julie is so much a part of The Sacks Group; I don't remember 'life' before she was with the Company," stated Saia.  "She has been a valued employee in every department, often wearing more than one hat because of her experience and knowledge within our Company. She is truly a wonderful asset and friend, "Jennifer continued.  "I hope she's with us for another 10!"
