Association will begin promotion of shelter & donations efforts.

PIKEVILLE, Ky., Dec. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Eric C. Conn Law Firm has announced a partnership with WestCare Emergency Shelter which serves the entire Tri-State area. "The need is ongoing and if everyone can just help by donating one item or monetary donation each month it will be greatly appreciated." WestCare is provided for those that fall on hard times and need refuge. Homeless individuals constantly are in a fight for life against death. WestCare is designed specifically to be temporary homes providing for those that have fallen on hard times an opportunity to get back into the workforce. Circumstances for entering the homeless shelter include but are not limited to: health complications, unpaid bills, or a missed paycheck. WestCare does not just provide shelter, but also offer a variety of services including job training, rehab for drug addicts, and soup kitchens. In the United States the Department of Housing and Urban Development has shown in recent studies that about 5 million Americans qualify to take advantage of homeless shelters. As poverty levels continue to climb, it is estimated that the number of homeless shelters, in particular in the United States, will continue to rise. All of the money or donations go directly to the shelter. No money from donations will be used to sponsor advertising efforts for the shelter. Our significant contributor the Eric C.
