CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/18/12 -- Tuscany International Drilling Inc. (TSX:TID) (COLOMBIA:TIDC)("Tuscany") is pleased to announce that Kiel Clark has been appointed Tuscany's Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Clark joined Tuscany in 2010 and most recently served as Tuscany's President, South America. Since that time he has been responsible for overseeing Tuscany's operations in all areas of South America. He will now oversee Tuscany's day-to-day operations over all of the jurisdictions in which Tuscany conducts its business. Mr. Clark has over 30 years of experience with a number of international drilling companies and has held various positions, including Regional Vice President, General Manager, Area Manager and Operations Manager. Mr Clark will be located in Houston, Texas.
