Toshiba Honors 95 Authorized Toshiba Dealers That Have Sold Toshiba Business Telephone Products for 10 to 30 Years

IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/18/12 -- Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division (Toshiba -- www.telecom.toshiba.com), today honored 95 of its Authorized Toshiba Dealers that have been Toshiba partners for 10 to 30 years, many of which exclusively sell Toshiba business telephone systems.

"We are pleased to honor our 95 Authorized Toshiba Dealers that have been Toshiba partners selling Toshiba business telephone systems for 10 to 30 years," said Larry Meyer, vice president of sales and marketing of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division.

"Toshiba has earned the loyalty of its dealers by helping them succeed and grow their businesses. Unlike most of its competitors, Toshiba is one of the only major business telephone system manufacturers that doesn't sell direct, so we do not compete with our dealers. Toshiba's National Accounts and Government Accounts programs always involve originating and installing dealers," Meyer added. "As well, we provide top-notch sales, application and technical support, a wide variety of in-person and online learning and certification programs, and Toshiba's legendary reputation for reliable, feature-rich products backed by some of the industry's longest warranties."

"Toshiba has won our loyalty and respect by successfully working side-by-side with us on behalf of thousands of customers over our 30+ year relationship. Toshiba's business telecommunications solutions are among the industry's most solid and reliable products available today," said Stanley Stevens, president of CTS Companies (http://www.cts-companies.com) of Bloomfield Hills, Mich. CTS Companies was among the first users of Toshiba's IPedge® voice over IP business telephone system, which networks all three of its business locations.

"The Toshiba team delivers unbeatable sales and technical support for its Authorized Dealer Network, including training, certifications, pre- and post-sales support, and friendly regional teams," he added.

Founded in 1978, Toshiba Telecommunication Systems Division (TSD) has 13 dealers who have been with the company for 30+ years; six dealers for 25-29 years; 16 dealers for 20-24 years, 16 dealers for 15-19 years and 44 dealers for 10-14 years. Ten dealers have been with Toshiba since 1980.

Toshiba offers a complete range of business telephone systems: the most-recently launched "Cloud" PBX VIPedge™, the premise-based IPedge IP business telephone systems and Strata® CIX™ IP converged business telephone systems. All of Toshiba's business telephone systems are compatible and network with each other, so customers can choose the best solution to fit their needs. Toshiba also offers a wide range of applications, including Unified Communications, Contact Center, Mobility and more.
