SParikh wrote: This article speaks true to the importance and capitalizing of the cloud. Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Nintex Workflow 2013 Now Available for Purchase

Nintex, the world’s leading SharePoint workflow company, announced today that Nintex Workflow 2013 is now available for purchase. Nintex Workflow provides SharePoint users, developers and IT professionals the ability to automate processes quickly and easily, all without having to write a single line of code.

“Customers with early plans to transition to SharePoint 2013 are able to move forward with their investments in Nintex products starting now,” said Alberto Sutton, Nintex vice president of product management. “Version after version, Nintex Workflow continues to expand SharePoint to deliver as a process automation platform,” said Sutton. “We uniquely offer quick and intuitive design experiences, complemented by comprehensive reporting, and connectivity to systems, databases, web and cloud services.”

This release of Nintex Workflow 2013 begins a regular cadence of upgrades and innovations continuing throughout the coming year, with expanded investments in mobile, social, and cloud computing. For example, greater social media integration allows users to set up processes and participate in tasks with social media channels including Yammer, Facebook and Twitter. In addition, Nintex is laying the groundwork for new richer mobile experiences for Windows 8 and iOS, building on the already powerful LazyApproval™ email authorization feature. Also, the Nintex Workflow Online Preview in the Office Store gives users a glimpse of a more productive Office 365 and the ability to run workflows in the cloud or a hybrid of online and onsite workflows.

“We believe the Nintex Workflow 2013 enhancements will increase process automation across industries in the coming year because employees want greater freedom to initiate and improve processes,” said Mike Fitzmaurice, Nintex vice president of product technology. “The mobile workforce demands tools that travel, and social networks are now being leveraged in enterprises for collaboration and decision making. Meanwhile, the growth of cloud computing allows integration of applications and data sources hosted outside of SharePoint in ways that were not possible before. Many of our customers are transitioning to SharePoint 2013 for all of these reasons, and we are ready for them.”

Nintex Workflow 2013 is available in three editions: Enterprise, Standard, and Workgroup, which are designed to meet the needs of any organization, from small teams to global enterprises. The product is also easily scalable to meet the needs of fast growing organizations.
