In the article you mentioned the low power benefit, and mentioned the HP computer, as low cost solution, but I think that our product the Cubox that Costs 120$ and needs only 3 Watt of power could be another excellent solution.

Sheridan Healthcare, Inc. Unveils Version 5.1 of PremiEHR Electronic Health Records Solution

Sheridan Healthcare, Inc., a national hospital-based, multispecialty practice management company and the second largest neonatology services provider in the nation, has announced the updated 5.1 version of PremiEHR, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) electronic health record software.

“PremiEHR 5.1 features noteworthy upgrades to billing, clinical and global functions,” explained Sheridan Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Caroline Coyle. “We enable healthcare businesses, physician practices and providers to focus on their patients rather than on their IT infrastructure.”

Billing enhancements were a primary driver for the PremiEHR 5.1 upgrade. The new “work list” feature streamlines the billing process with internal communication systems for clinicians and billing staff and automatically creates a short list of incomplete billing records before they are sent off for final billing.

The upgrade's clinical enhancements include the Lexi-Comp update, a data update for information used for drug-to-drug alerts. The new “PremiEHR Links” feature enables users to add important reference materials either as links or PDF files, which adds a research repository function to PremiEHR 5.1 beyond its traditional electronic medical record capabilities.

Additional improvements found in PremiEHR 5.1 include a user/security audit log and a global tracking system of changes made at the facility level as well as any changes to usernames and passwords. This helps the user be more compliant with usernames and password changes that occur as the system becomes larger and requires tracking of additional account creations and deletions.

One of the most comprehensive modular programs available to NICUs, PremiEHR has processed more than 500,000 patient days at more than 29 NICUs. With 26 features certified in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the software is capable of supporting providers with Stage 1 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

PremiEHR offers a customized web-based interface that can be delivered to providers over a full-service cloud or as a licensed software product with secure access for providers, both at the facilities and remotely. PremiEHR and its suite of companion products, that include next generation revenue cycle management, quality analytics and a health information exchange, were designed and built as an integration-friendly platform using a service-oriented architecture that is highly scalable and offers smooth integration with core hospital or independent physician group electronic medical record systems.
